Elimination of ompR on the srfH -- lacZ activity was comparable with elimination of ssrB , perhaps the apparent OmpR stimulation of srfH is via its effect on expression of SsrB .
Under low osmolality , the ssrB genes are transcriptionally activated by the binding of OmpR ~ P to their promoters whose levels are in turn .
Under acidic pH , the ssrB genes are transcriptionally activated by the binding of OmpR ~ P to their promoters whose levels are in turn .
