In this study , we demonstrate that SsrB directly stimulates transcription of sifA by binding upstream of their respective promoters .
SsrB was able to activate transcription of sifA in 1.7-fold or absence -LRB- 3-fold -RRB- of CTD .
SsrB was able to activate transcription of sifA in the C presence or absence -LRB- 3-fold -RRB- of CTD .
