This is consistent with RNA-seq analysis results , where , in the presence of NaOCl , glpA expression in WT showed a log2 fold-change of 3.6 compared to the mutant , suggesting that glpA is upregulated by SlyA .
These results suggest that SlyA upregulates the glpA gene .
